New Exhibition:
Stud Country
Michelle Groskopf
June 11 -June 24
Friends,
We are back with the tenth installment of the Process Projected exhibition series, featuring the beautifully joyful documentary photography of Michelle Groskopf.
"Stud Country" celebrates the vibrant legacy of queer dance spaces and the rich history of LGBTQ cowboy culture. Captured by Michelle Groskopf, this series immerses viewers in a world where best friends Sean and Bailey teach partner dancing and classic line dances, blending disco, '90s country, and modern pop. With an ethos of inclusivity and fun, Stud Country welcomes all bodies and levels. Groskopf’s images radiate with Queer joy, love, and movement, honoring a community that embraces dance as an expression of identity and unity.
It's a privilege to glimpse this world filled with moments of joy, dance, and community. The images pop, making it feel like we are almost in the room, sensing the electricity in the air. Take it all in. Come see it in person.
Let me know if you pop by the gallery, I might be there or nearby.
